Tier 3 Package Sample

In 2025, Gering Geosolutions led the full design and execution of the Reno County CHNA. This was done in collaboration with the Reno County Health Department and Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System. As part of this effort, the multi-phase project included bilingual household surveys, stakeholder engagement, and nonprofit listening sessions. Each of these components were crucial to performing a comprehensive community health needs assessment.

To illustrate this, the assessment integrated qualitative feedback with quantitative data, including GIS-based tools and maps, secondary indicators, and key themes from lived experience. Our work helped shape the county’s health priorities and inform local public health strategies through a detailed community health needs assessment approach. Moreover, it is guiding the development of a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).

One of the project’s key deliverables was an interactive, public-facing website. Designed with accessibility in mind, it allows community members and organizations to explore the findings in an actionable, user-friendly format. This tool featured data visualizations, maps, and summary reports/infographics that allow users to explore the county’s health, barriers, and disparities.
